Mark your calendar to attend the 2022 Grant Management Virtual Training!

The virtual training series will span the full year and will focus on project implementation for localities and organizations using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), CDBG-COVID, Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation (IPR-Flex), Lead Hazard Reduction (LHR), Acquire, Renovate Sell (ARS) and Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) funds for enhancing communities. The trainings will cover a range of topics chosen to support successful project planning and implementation, review "real-world" project situations and include time for both Q&A and peer-to-peer discussion. 

Local governments and organizations that are DHCD's grantees in the CDBG, CDBG-COVID, IPR, ARS, and ARC programs are expected to participate in the applicable 2022 Virtual Grantee Training Sessions. Individuals in the blue box below are encouraged to attend.

Session times will be provided with registration materials for the dates listed below.

January 19-21 Grant Management Workshop The three-day event will encompass beginner and advanced components of grant management. Additionally, there will be sessions dedicated to fiscal management, to reporting, and to CAMS.
February 8-10 Rehab Workshop The three-day event will encompass both beginner and advanced information for rehab specialists in localities and organizations using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), CDBG-COVID, Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation (IPR-Flex), Lead Hazard Reduction (LHR), and  Acquire, Renovate Sell (ARS). Additionally, there will be discussions dedicated to growing your contractor base. 
February 23-24 Environmental Review Records This two-day event will encompass both beginner and advanced information for completion of the Environmental Review Record in localities and organizations using CDBG, CDBG-COVID, IPR-Flex, LHR, and  ARS when federal leverage funding is used. 
March 16 Section 3 The one-day training will encompass both beginner and advanced information for compliance with Section 3 in localities and organizations using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), CDBG-COVID, Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation (IPR-Flex), Lead Hazard Reduction (LHR), and  Acquire, Renovate Sell (ARS) when federal leverage funding is used. 
April 12 Fair Housing The one-day training will encompass training and discussions for localities and organizations using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), CDBG-COVID, Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation (IPR-Flex), Lead Hazard Reduction (LHR), and  Acquire, Renovate Sell (ARS).
