Economic development and entrepreneurship projects that will have a significant regional impact are eligible for up to $1.25 million in CDBG assistance. These projects must result in job creation, business start-up or significant expansion and must directly relate to a strategic economic restructuring effort. Benefit projections must be deemed reliable and credible for the number of jobs to be created, and the jobs must clearly be documented. CDBG participation will be limited up to $35,000 per job created.
